I almost wanted them to end up working it out. I had a inner struggle as to him and Niall but I loved both of the characters. I can't wait to see how Fragile Eternity goes and if Irial and Leslie are in it. I'm sure Niall is.

I did want them to work out. I was way more gripped by their story than by Aislin's Kennan's and Seth's story. As for the struggle between Irial and Niall I found Irial better. No clue why.
