After Leslie makes her comment about the outcome of the play being different had Othello trusted Desdemona, Sister Marie Louise asks Jeff if he agrees, since Jeff "objected most to Leslie's comments."

There's an indication Jeff and Leslie may often take opposite sides in the literature class discussions. However, Jeff is not mentioned as having taken any part in the discussions which involved Keenan.
