WL-Cerise
Demi-Succubus; Member of Summer Court
It's unclear whether or not Cerise was ever a Summer Girl. What is clear is she is a member of Keenan's Summer Court, is known to him and attempted to entice Seth into a relationship with her so he would forget or break up with Aislinn.
The evening of Aislinn's "date" with Keenan, Ash stops at Seth's house to talk to him about her fears related to the evening. While she's there, two of Seth's friends arrive, bringing with them three girls, one of whom turns out to be Cerise. Aislinn is vaguely surprised there are three girls, and notes they were dressed in clothes that would not keep them warm: tight skirts and cleavage-bearing shirts.
Cerise, who Aislinn caught watching Seth, moves toward Seth. When she does, Ash sees the tiny horns poking through her hair; as well as her leathery wings curled tightly against her back. Cerise tries to convince Seth to leave the train with her, but Aislinn intervenes by throwing Cerise out of Seth's house.
Several Summer Girls and other Fey are outside and witness this. One of the girls says to Cerise, "Told you Cerise . . . That sort of approach doesn't work if they're already in love."
When Donia visits Seth's home after Aislinn and Keenan spent the night at the Carnival, she notes Cerise is among the Fey watching over the building. Cerise comes up behind Donia. The Winter Girl, thinking Cerise is trying to intimidate her, blows cold air at her, causing Cerise to shriek and fall back. This happens as Aislinn and Seth come to the door -- and all the Fey note Aislinn clearly heard Cerise shriek.
Aislinn, realizing she's given herself away to the group of faeries, essentially dares them to run and tell the Winter Queen. Donia, however, challenges the group, saying if they are loyal to Keenan, they'll say nothing. This causes Cerise to "growl, I would never betray the Summer King." Donia then invites Seth and Aislinn to walk with her. They go inside to discuss the invitation and during that interval, Cerise hisses at Donia from behind one of the rowan men.
Later in the novel, Keenan is in Rath and Ruins, considering his options and worrying Aislinn will refuse to touch the Winter Queen's staff. He notes Cerise is there and is on the brink of consulting her, when Ash calls him on his cell phone.
As noted, Cerise tends to dress in a revealing manner, has little horns above her forehead and has leathery, butterfly-like wings. She flaps them when she is agitated.
